Miami is a vibrant and varied city, with something to offer everyone. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacation or a chance to experience the city’s rich culture, you’ll find it all in Miami. I have always loved going to Miami because it has both the city vibes as well as the beach. And what’s not to love about the food?!

Throughout the past couple of years, Miami has gained popularity as it has something for everyone. And because of that, the city has become more crowded and expensive. Nevertheless, it is still one of my favorite places to visit and I cannot wait to tell you guys some of my recommendations. As someone who lives in Palm Beach, I come here often throughout the year whether it’s to go to concerts or just try out new food or events that are happening.

Without further ado, here are the 12 best things to do in Miami:
1) Go to Brickell

Brickell is located in the downtown area of Miami and is known for its tall buildings and cool, trendy vibe. There are also a few hotels located in Brickell, so it’s the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a central location. There are tons of great restaurants and bars, as well as some fun shops. This is also one of the most popular areas to go out at night as there are many clubs and bars located here.

I recommend visiting the Brickell City Center which is essentially a giant outdoor mall with a selection of shops and restaurants. My favorite store there is Zara and I love eating at Tacology.

2) Visit the art district (wynwood)
Wynwood is Miami’s art district and it is one of the coolest places in the city. It is full of street art and graffiti, and there are also a few art galleries located here. Wynwood is a great place to walk around and explore, and there are also some great restaurants and bars located here.

Wynwood also has great nightlife. There are a lot of cool clubs that are open there and on weekend nights it gets hectic.

3)Visit the Buckminster Fuller’s Fly’s Eye Dome
This amazing dome, designed by visionary architect Buckminster Fuller, is an iconic piece of modern architecture that is sure to leave you in awe. With its unusual shape, intricate design, and history as a symbol of American innovation, the Fly’s Eye Dome is a must-see for any visitor to Miami.

Inside the dome, there is a staircase that leads down to a parking garage. The dome is inside this beautiful plaza that has some beautiful shops and a food court that you must check out. It’s a beautiful area that we enjoy strolling around. It is also super picturesque so you will get some nice pictures there!

4) Go to South Beach
Of course, one of the best things to do in Miami is to go to the beach! Miami has some of the best beaches in the country, and there is something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax or a place to party, you’ll find it all here.

-Jaya at the Setai

Beaches:
–South Beach: This is the most popular beach in Miami and it is also the most crowded. It is located in the South Beach area and it is a great place to people watch. There are also a lot of great restaurants and bars located nearby.
-Haulover Beach: This beach is located in North Miami and it is a great place to relax. It is also a clothing-optional beach, so if that’s your thing, this is the place for you.
–Crandon Park Beach: This beach is located on Key Biscayne and it is a great place to escape the crowds. It is a large beach with plenty of space to spread out, and it also has a few restaurants and bars located nearby.
5) Go on a boat tour
One of the best ways to see Miami is from the water, and there are many different boat tours that you can take. These tours range from short cruises to all-day tours, and they are a great way to see the city. Many different boat tour companies offer a variety of different tours, so you can find one that fits your interests.
6) Walkthrough Lincoln Road
Lincoln Road is a pedestrian mall located in South Beach. It is full of shops, restaurants, and cafes. There is also a movie theater located here, as well as some art galleries. A lot of people like to come here to enjoy the outdoor seating and just soak in the Miami heat.

Lincoln Road originally opened in the 1920s, and it was one of the first pedestrian malls in the country. It has been through a few renovations over the years, and it is now one of the most popular places in Miami.

7) Visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a historic estate that was built in 1916. It is located on Biscayne Bay, and it is a beautiful place to visit. The estate includes a main house, 10 acres of gardens, and a village. The Vizcaya Museum is open to the public, and it is a great place to learn about the history of Miami.
It costs $20 for adults and $10 for children to enter, and it is open every day from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
8) Stroll through Coconut Grove

Zoo Miami is open every day from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and it costs $22 for adults and $17 for children.
10) Take a trip to the Everglades
The Everglades is a National Park that is located in southern Florida. It is home to many different animals, including alligators, crocodiles, and snakes. The Everglades is a great place to hike, canoe, and camp. You’ll need a car to get there as it is about an hour drive from Miami.
11) Shop at Bayside Marketplace
Bayside Marketplace is a large outdoor mall that is in downtown Miami. It is full of shops, restaurants, and cafes, and it has a beautiful view of the bay. They have a Ferris wheel and a carousel for the kids, and there is also live music that plays every day. There is also access to boats if you want to go out on the water.


12) Go to Nikki Beach Miami
Nikki Beach Miami is a hip beach club located on South Beach. It is a great place to relax, and mingle, and it also has a restaurant and bar. Nikki Beach is a popular place for locals and tourists alike, and it is open every day from 11:00am to 7:00pm. They have chairs and umbrellas for rent, and there is also a pool if you don’t want to swim in the ocean.
13) Visit the Perez Art Museum Miami
The Perez Art Museum Miami is a contemporary art museum that is located in downtown Miami. It is one of the newest museums in the city, and it has a great collection of art. The museum is open every day from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and it costs $16 for adults and $12 for children.
14) Watch a Miami Heat game
The Miami Heat is the local NBA team, and they are one of the most successful teams in the league. They play their home games at the American Airlines Arena, and it is a great place to watch a game. Tickets start at $50, and the games are usually played in the evenings.

LIV is one of the hottest nightclubs in Miami, and it is located on South Beach. It is a great place to see celebrities, and just have a hell of a night to remember. LIV is open every day from 10:00pm to 5:00am, and it costs $30 for adults.
